Reversing urban transport innovation: Your ideas from developing countries for inspiring German cities
Your experience and expertise is needed! Do you know any innovative urban mobility developments that could inspire German cities? Please, feel free to share your ideas by filling in the following form.
For our joint background paper with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (giz) and the Federal Environment Agency (UBA) on 'reverse innovations' we are currently collecting examples of urban transport innovations from developing and emerging economies. Thereby examples could arise from technological developments (e-vehicles, solar vehicles), digitalisation trends (Apps, Social Media), business models (Bike Sharing, Uber), strategies (Sustainable Mobility Plans, Cycling Plans), infrastructure development (Bike lanes, Shared Space), or further topics. Innovation for us does not mean that ideas have to be fully new; we are also interested in innovative aspects on existing concepts or products (e.g. new business models, stakeholder engagement strategies etc.).
All your ideas will be collected in a database and 10 of them will be examined in detail in our background paper. If you have further questions, do not hesitate to get in touch with Alina Ulrich (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We are looking forward to your ideas!
