Sustainable Urban Transport Project

The ninth annual Sustainable Urban Transport Award will be held in Washington D.C. on 15th January 2013.

The winner will be selected based on four characteristics: increasing mobility for residents, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution from transportation, improving safety, and increasing access for cyclists and pedestrians.

The nominees are:

• Bremen, Germany,
• Lviv, Ukraine,
• Mexico City, Mexico,
• Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,
• Rosario, Argentina
